Terms

HangarFox helps you plan, brief and log your flying. It doesn't replace the official sources, and you remain pilot in command.
Not for navigation
HangarFox is a planning and record-keeping aid. Aerodrome data comes from OurAirports, which is community-maintained; weather comes from public services and can be late, missing or wrong; takeoff and landing figures are digitised from POH charts and can differ from your aircraft's own; and NOTAMs may not be shown at all.
Before every flight, check the AIP, NOTAMs, an official weather briefing and your aircraft's own POH. Decisions about whether and how to fly are yours.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- Your logbook is your record. Keep it accurate; HangarFox does not certify it.
- You must be [16] or over to have an account.
What you post
Aerodrome notes, reviews and anything else you share must be honest and must not be abusive, unlawful, misleading about safety, or about other people's private matters. No advertising or selling seats.
You keep ownership of what you post, and let us show it to other HangarFox users for as long as it's on the service. We may hide or remove anything that breaks these terms, and suspend accounts that keep doing so.
The service
HangarFox is free during its beta. We'll try to keep it running and your data safe, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or stop features, and will give notice before closing the service so you can export your logbook.
[Limitation of liability — to be drafted with a solicitor. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.]
Ending
You can stop using HangarFox and delete your account at any time, from Settings. See Privacy for what happens to your data.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
